# Limits and minimums
> Minimum and maximum amounts for topping up, sending and withdrawing.
Every limit below is set per country and can change, so the app is where you read the current one — it appears on the screen where it applies, as you type.
## Where each limit shows up

| **Topping up** | A minimum, and sometimes a maximum. Shown under the amount on the top-up screen. |
| **Sending** | A minimum per send. Shown under the amount if you go below it. |
| **Withdrawing** | A minimum and a maximum per withdrawal, both methods. **Withdraw all** respects the maximum. |
| **eWallet withdrawals** | A daily total per person, with the remaining amount shown on the method screen. Bank withdrawals have no daily cap. |
| **Pledges** | A cap on how many you can have outstanding at once, and on their total value. |
## Things that are fixed
A few limits are the same everywhere and will not move:
* A note on a send is up to 140 characters
* A wallet's public message is up to 280 characters
* A batch of cash tokens is up to 20 at a time
* One review per wallet per day
## If a limit blocks you
The app names the problem rather than just refusing — "Minimum is …", "That amount exceeds the maximum", "You've reached today's eWallet limit. Try EFT instead." Read the line under the amount; it is telling you which limit you hit.
If you need to move more than a single withdrawal allows, do it over more than one withdrawal, or use EFT rather than eWallet.
