# Getting started

> Send instant tips, gratuity payments, donations, gifts and everyday transfers.

Loosh is built around the concept of safely sending small amounts of money, even to complete strangers without having cash on hand or having money in your bank account - you also don't need a device or phone in order to transact

## What you can do

## More than one wallet

Your personal wallet is created for you when you join. You can add others as you need them

* **Professional** wallet to receive tips and gratuity if you earn at a workplace or offer a service
* **Organization** wallet for a registered organization like a school, church or charity
* **Project** wallet for a fundraiser or a special occasion

Each wallet has its own balance, its own public page and its own QR code, so the money someone tips you at work stays separate from your other wallets. [How the types differ](/docs/wallets/overview).

## Getting paid

Every wallet has a shareable link and a QR code. Print your profile card (business card), put your QR code on a counter, or share your link - whoever wants to gift you something, scans your QR code or click your link and sends. You can also collect [reviews and show a supporter wall](/docs/features/reviews).

## Referral fees

When you interact with new users to the platform, you will receive a referral fee for each new sign up that starts using the platform. [Read more](/docs/features/referrals)
